Olga Gutierrez Melendez is a Colombian mother of two and an accomplished Industrial Engineer with over 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, project management, and sustainable development. She is known for her innovative, disruptive thinking and ability to use both qualitative and quantitative data to craft and implement effective business solutions. Her work is deeply aligned with the UN’s SDGs, and she has a strong focus on social and environmental impact.
As Deputy Director at Made For A Woman in Rome, she leads strategic planning, oversees supply chain management, and ensures operational efficiency. She works with prestigious clients such as Chloé, Fendi, among others, driving risk management and performance improvement across all operations. Prior to this role, she served as Operations Director for Made For A Woman in Antananarivo.
Earlier in her career, Olga held leadership roles at Inditex in Bogotá (Colombia), where she managed operations and HR for the Stradivarius brand, and at PROCOLOMBIA in New York, where she successfully promoted Colombian textile exports, particularly in the shapewear, underwear, and denim sectors. Her experience also includes advisory work, having founded OLG Advisory to help businesses integrate social, environmental, and economic considerations into their strategies.
A graduate of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Olga has continued her education with studies in Fashion and Sustainability at the London College of Fashion and Sustainable Development at Trinity College Dublin. Her academic and professional background reflects a strong commitment to aligning business with sustainability principles.
