TRAINING EVENT
The Social Enterprise Open Camp is an international training event dedicated to social entrepreneurship gathering the most notable figures in the field of impact entrepreneurship worldwide. An intensive, immersive, and residential training experience featuring a programme full of workshops, case studies from around the world, plenary sessions, and keynote speeches.
To whom it is intended
Impactful entrepreneurs, aspiring innovators, change makers, social enterprises, international cooperation practitioners, impact investors, and representatives of institutions, universities, and academies. Participants will be both from Italy and from all over the world.

22-25 June 2019, Naples-Salerno
The 2019 edition of the Social Enterprise Open Camp focused on the analysis of female potential, technology, and access to capital to outline the social enterprises of the future and foster the virtuous convergence of impact capital, technology, innovation, and women’s entrepreneurship.

SEOC DIGITAL 2020
A path towards the Social Enterprise Open Camp 2021 in which 3 types of activities alternated:
- 3 workshop online in which participants challenged themselves, through the design thinking method already experienced in person, to explore the themes of women’s entrepreneurship and urban sustainability
- 4 seoc digital talk with professionals and names from national and international social entrepreneurship
- 3 seoc story in which social entrepreneurs talked about themselves in live streaming

The 2021 edition of the Social Enterprise Open Camp focused on the role played by impact enterprises in the challenges of contemporaneity, which have become even bigger and more complex because of the pandemic crisis that is reshaping socio-economic dimensions on a global scale.

In 2022, the Social Enterprise Open Camp took place in Bari and in Matera, the 2019 European Capital Of Culture, and reflected on the role of technology and digital innovation in generating social and environmental impact in rural, peri-urban and inland areas in various latitudes of the planet, from Africa to Italy.

In 2023, the Social Enterprise Open Camp was held in Todi, a gem of Umbria, and the focus was centered on the value, importance and role of human, social and relational capital, real potential drivers of change, development and growth of impact enterprises.
Social Enterprise Open Camp – BEYOND INCLUSION for a fair economy and a healthy planet
October 24-27, 2024, Catania
In 2024, the SEOC was held in Catania, pearl of the Mediterranean, black city at the foot of Mount Etna and economic hub and vibrant heart of Sicily. The focus was on exploring effective business models capable of generating social and environmental impact, demonstrating care for the “health of the planet,” while also promoting a “just” economy that can make a business sustainable and scalable.
Social Enterprise Open Camp – TOGETHERNESS – Cultivating Systemic Change
November 28th – December 1st 2025, Turin-Cuneo-Langhe
In 2025, the Social Enterprise Open Camp took place across Turin, Cuneo, and the Langhe region, an area renowned for its vibrant social economy ecosystem and its strong network of philanthropic organizations and foundations. The 2025 edition focused on today’s social challenges, promoting a systemic approach based on Systemic Investing and Systemic Change. Its goal was to address the root causes of these challenges through collaboration among multiple stakeholders and initiatives.
